About HatStack

HatStack Digital is where I build things.

Some ideas come from curiosity. Some come from wanting to see if something can be done better. And sometimes they come from frustration.

ResuBlast started during my own job search. I was sending out applications into a system that felt increasingly automated and impersonal. Resumes were screened by software. Rejections, when they came at all, were automated too. At the same time, applicants were expected to tailor dozens of resumes every week just to stay competitive.

That disconnect stuck with me. If parts of the hiring process are automated, why is the burden of repetition still entirely manual on the applicant? Rewriting the same experience again and again while trying to keep up with bills and responsibilities did not feel sustainable.

ResuBlast grew out of that realization. It is not meant to overhaul hiring or beat the system. It simply automates the most repetitive part of applying so people can reclaim some of their time and focus their energy where it actually matters.

HatStack Digital exists because I tend to respond to problems by building. When something feels inefficient or unnecessarily difficult, and I have the ability to improve it, I will try.

ResuBlast is just the first public example of that approach. It will not be the last. Some future projects may be serious. Some may be experimental. Some may just be fun. The common thread is simple: I build what feels worth building.

If one day ResuBlast becomes unnecessary because hiring improves, that would be a good thing. Until then, I will keep building.
